People are often bombarded with online ads for new products that promise to improve their lives. However, product recommendation services have found that many of these products don’t live up to their promises. This is due in part to influencers on social media who promote products through affiliate networks, earning money when their followers make purchases. Influencers are also paid by brands to promote products, leading to an influx of gadgets on the market. One example is spin scrubbers, which are advertised as effective cleaning tools but are actually ineffective and overpriced. A simple sponge is often a better alternative.
